Hey!
We‘re Paula and Luisa, two energetic 20 year olds from Germany who are currently doing a work and travel year in Canada. Our first adventure here was a roadtrip on the West Coast where we explored Vancouver Island and the Rocky Mountains. We fell in love not just with the beauty of this country and all the friendly, positive people we‘ve met, but mostly with the spirit of traveling. More than anything we enjoy exploring new places, meeting new people and building friendships across the world as well as learning about other cultures. Staying curious and open-minded towards new experiences is the mindset we want to hold while we get to see more of this amazing country. ~Life begins at the end of your comfort zone~ It’s our dream to create even more unforgettable memories in Canada and workaway is the perfect opportunity for us to do so!

Hey, I‘m Paula! I’m a trustworthy, reliable and kind person. Being around animals, doing sports such as jogging or reading fantasy books… that’s what I love :) I‘ve already worked in two restaurants, in Whistler and in Sun Peaks, and I‘m very much looking forward to try something new through workaway.

Hey, I‘m Luisa! I love having good conversations and getting to know the life story of other people. Reading a book while having coffee with a friend makes me just as happy as being active in nature or in the gym. I‘m an animal lover which shows in my job doing horse sleigh rides in Sun Peaks. Also, I have experience in housekeeping and in a café.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m Paula and I‘ve worked in multiple restaurants already, where I acquired my team working skills as well as my ability to stay calm under pressure. Moreover, I love baking and trying new recipes. I‘m very good with animals and I have experience with horses. In my free time I really like to paint, to crochet and to knit… anything that involves creating something unique with my own two hands. My friends know to rely on me when a practical solution is needed. I‘m a logical thinker with a huge interest in maths who is very skilled with numbers and calculations.

I‘m Luisa and my skills are crafting and creating; writing, painting, crocheting, room design as well as sewing and upcycling clothes… I love anything that allows me to express my creativity and to add my own touch. Moreover, I’m good at cooking and I enjoy using healthy nutritious foods. Due to my jobs and private relations I am a skilled and empathetic communicator who is always willing to help solving conflicts or emotionally supporting the people around me.
