Hello !! I'm from Rennes, Brittany, France. I have just sold in March my tiny company which helped elderly and disabled people at home. So now I have the time to travel and to visit Europe. I have done almost 40 spots with WA. In 2017 I spent my year abroad travelling with my car in Great Britain and Ireland. During that time I visited and worked in so many different places. For an instance, I work in a music school, a donkeys sanctuary, in a buddist temple... With WA, I have travelled in Germany-Czech Republic-Austria-Slovaquia-Hungary, and several spots in France as well. I travel with my car.

My stay with Ingrid was my last one in Norway. I stayed with Ingrid 12 days and she welcomed me very warmly in her beautiful house located in a beautiful place between sea and forrest. When he does something, he does it perfectly - that's a good and rare characteristic to have. This is not a "bla-bla" feedback. I spent only 2 weeks with Arta and Arturs. I wasn't here because they needed to renovate a floor or to renew the garden, I was here because they wanted to have a cultural exchange with me.
They want to spend time with you, to share their table and moments with you.

Philippe stayed with us for two weeks. He is kind, confident and hard working. He joined in easily with family and was always polite and friendly. Also he was great in communicating his needs and asked questions, when needed. He was self motivated and talkative. We are thankful for all of the work he completed.

Philippe stayed with us for a week and helped to paint the barnhouse and collect firewood in the forest. Work in the forest is pretty physical, yet it is no problem at all for Philippe. He was flexible and happy to help in whatever needed to be done. His work ranged from helping to dig a septic system, painting, working with students, and making 100 crepes. Philippe was a terrific addition to our family. Everything he took on was well done and methodical.
He was super sensitive to everything going on around him. Always ready to jump in and help out. And we were impressed by his determination to better his English, with his classic reading list. Come back next year!

All this family was amazing. I was a part of the family but the whole family, including their son Henry and Pollie the dog. I spent 10 days with them and I like to come back. I worked mostly doing painting, gardening.

Philippe stayed with us for two weeks and helped with the reconstruction of our old garden wall. He integrated into our household very easily and was very cheerful and helpful around the house. We enjoyed playing Ticket to Ride with Philippe and our other volunteer Rob. We were sad to see him go.

Phillipe was a fantastic help to us. He is very self motivated .He did a lot of outside work and as we were moving a lot of moving too. He also painted and did some DIY. He was very good with the other workawayers . I would have no hesitation in recommending Phillip to any prospective host

My stage with Deidre was only for 10 days. But it was a very good time. The house is beaufitul and very big as the garden. Deirdre is a perfect host, very helpful, very funny. The food is very good and in profusion. The ennis music festival was during my stay, it was very enjoyable.
And I could never forget the gorgeous Nora. )))))))))))

I spent 3 marvellous weeks with Nita, David and the kids. Everybody was very kind and helpful.
The garden and the house are beautiful. The caravan is very comfortable. It was very interesting to follow Nita when she worked. the job was mainly gardening and diy.
I advise this spot for the hosts and for the things to see around.
