Hello! My name is NOBUKO and I’m from Japan.

I worked as an elementary school teacher in Japan for many years, and for the past two years, I taught at a Japanese school in Singapore. I love working with children and helping them grow through learning.

When I was a child, I lived in India and attended a Japanese school there. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for international exchange and understanding.

I’m warm, patient, and respectful. I hope to stay with a kind and welcoming host family, especially one with children (preferably of elementary school age), where I can support their learning and share joyful moments together.

If possible, I would appreciate a quiet space to use my laptop during my stay, as I’m considering doing some small remote work.

I would love to learn English through everyday conversation and cultural exchange. I’m also interested in learning the local language wherever I stay, even just a little, to connect more with people and culture. I’m happy to share my native Japanese language and culture, especially with children or anyone interested in learning. Language is a wonderful way to connect with others, and I look forward to learning together!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have many years of experience as an elementary school teacher in Japan.
I enjoy supporting children’s learning, reading picture books, playing games, and helping with homework.

I also have experience working with students who need extra care and support.
I’m very patient and love creating a warm and encouraging learning environment.

I can also help with light housework, organizing, and basic computer tasks if needed.

I’m not very experienced with handling animals, so I may not be confident holding them,
but this year I took care of rabbits and turtles at the elementary school in Singapore.
I enjoyed feeding them and cleaning their living space.

I also used to have a dog, so I understand how to care for pets with love and responsibility.
