I am a hard working 29 year old looking for a new adventure.

I am passionate about travelling and learning from different cultures, always up for trying new things and immersing myself in a new experience.

Growing up in a boarding school equipped me with strong social skills and the ability to build relationships with anyone.

I am a kind, caring and peaceful person who enjoying positive human connection and the opportunity to learn from others.

I have a strong sense of humour and am fiercely optimistic. Always striving to be grateful and have fun where possible.

I am also comfortable in my own company and am keen to find a peaceful place to read and learn so I can continue to evolve a grow as a person.

Driving Cars, Tractors, Quad bikes - Grew up driving different vehicles and over 10 years experience driving a car.

Driving Boats & Sailing - Experienced driving motor boats and hold a level 4 sailing qualification.

Strong Swimmer - Confident in the water and know basic life saving techniques.

Painter and Artist - Enjoy painting, drawing and any creative pursuit.

I had a wonderful time at here in Grenada. I would certainly go back and stay again. I was there over the busy month of February, when lots of beans are being harvested and processed. As I was a solo traveller, I worked most days alongside the resident farm manager (Gabri). I enjoyed the work. It was just constant enough to keep your mind… read more occupied, but not too taxing. There was still a lot of time to relax in the hammock, or do yoga on the deck, while watching the cocoa dry.

The accommodation is quite basic, a level up from glamping (glamour camping), but very cosy and comfortable. I became very fond of the little wooden house and it's separation from the overcomplicated amenities of the Western world. It was a stark reminder to me that we really don't need very much to be happy. A way to make tea and a place to lay your head will do. The house in fact, has a lot more than that, a little fridge and cooker for example, but the point holds good.

Kim is a very fair and interesting man with a wicked sense of humour. He always greeted me with a warm smile, which seemed to convey a genuine pleasure to see me. I enjoyed working with him and learning from him. He took time to explain the different parts of the chocolate making process, as well as entertaining me with stories of his eclectic life experience living on narrow boats around England.

Lylette also has a very warm and welcoming presence. Although we spent less time working together, I very much enjoyed our little chats, from sharing creative ideas about her new business ventures, to our favourite cooking recipes.

Gabri, who lived directly above me, is one of the most generous and kind men I have ever met. It felt incredibly healing for me to spend time with him. We shared many meals and a lot of laughs, and this added real value to my time here.

I chose to escape the corporate world of London to prioritise my mental health. Kim & Lylette’s farm was the perfect environment to continue my recovery. There is an optimum balance of peace and friendly company, coupled with work that is mindful and keeps you fit and strong. It is the perfect environment to cultivate wellness, both mentally and physically. The culture of the island means that it runs at a much slower pace, which practically forces you to slow down too. The local people take time to interact with you at a more human level, with the appropriate time and respect for conversation. Nothing is rushed- just as it should be. This has an immensely calming effect. I am very grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would certainly recommend it to other likeminded, perhaps slightly spiritual, people looking for a new adventure.
