Hi!
My name is Nora, I’m 18 years old and I’ve just finished school. This September, I’ll be starting my architecture studies—something I’m really passionate about! I live in Madrid, Spain, but I also have Swiss roots, and I speak four languages: Spanish, French, German and English.

I’m a creative and curious person who loves painting, reading, meeting new people, travelling, and exploring new places. I enjoy learning about everything—from how to build an eco-friendly home to the customs, traditions and daily life in different cultures.

I’m really looking forward to discovering the beauty and diversity of our planet, while offering my help and energy wherever it's needed.
I consider myself proactive, responsible, calm, friendly, and full of enthusiasm. I’m always ready to lend a hand, take initiative, and do my best—with a big smile and an open heart.

Through Workaway, I’d love to live meaningful experiences, contribute to inspiring projects, learn from others, share what I know, and be part of a more conscious and sustainable way of travelling and living.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Although I haven’t had that much time yet to build up a long list of skills, I do have a few—and I’m really excited to keep learning more!

To begin with, I speak four languages (Spanish, French, German and English), and I’m passionate about both science and the arts. I love painting and I’m great with crafts of all kinds—sewing (by hand or machine), knitting, or building things with wood or whatever materials are at hand. I really value aesthetics and enjoy working on design-related tasks, so I’d be happy to help with anything creative or visual.

Gardening is something else I enjoy—my mum has always loved plants, and I guess I’ve inherited that love from her.

I’m an organised person and like to help plan and structure things, whether it’s events, activities or keeping track of numbers—maths is something I genuinely enjoy.

I’ve also given private lessons, both to classmates and to younger children, which has taught me how to explain things clearly and be patient and encouraging.

I love music and dancing, and I also enjoy going out and having fun, always responsibly. So if you need someone to help organise a party or an event, I’d be happy to lend a hand and make sure it runs smoothly and safely.

Photography is another passion of mine—I have several relatives who are photographers, and this summer I’m planning to take an online course to improve my skills even more.

When it comes to cooking, I know the basics, but I’m really eager to learn new recipes and improve in the kitchen.

I’ve been lucky to travel a lot with my family since I was very young, so I’m very open to new environments and cultures. Rather than being overwhelmed, I feel curious and excited to dive into new ways of living and thinking.

And above all, I’m truly motivated to help with whatever is needed. I’m always willing to learn—whether in advance or on the spot—and I’ll do it with enthusiasm, joy and a big smile.

I really hope to keep developing new skills with you, and contribute in meaningful ways during my stay.
