👋 Hi! I'm a 44-year-old sculptress and entrepreneur living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Gibsons, BC.

I am currently in a transition period and looking for a meaningful long-term exchange. I will be moving out of my home December 31st and am in the process of searching my next permanent place to live. Since I have online side of my business, I can carry it wherever I go.

I prefer to not leave in a couple of weeks and build a real connection with my hosts, and truly contribute to their project. As I have been considering making the islands my future home for the last a few years, I value stays that allow me to integrate into the local community. If you are on an island and if you are looking for long term Workawayer and tasks includes outdoors animals, kids this is a plus.

I am a lifelong learner with a deep curiosity about the world. When I’m not working with my hands, I’m usually exploring my interests in plants and animals, as I find a lot of peace in nature. I am also very passionate about psychology and self-improvement; I value personal growth, mindfulness, and understanding the human experience. I am a reliable, respectful, dependable and hardworking individual who values clear communication.

I'm a highly visual, creative, and proactive person who loves tackling projects from every angle. I run my own business, Gaia Art Hub, where I teach art lessons and manage a growing online presence.

I am also a very empathetic person who truly enjoys the company of others. I love animals and have extensive experience with pet sitting, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I am more than happy to help out with family or pet needs if that is part of the exchange.

I am also very comfortable with cooking, baking, and general housework. I’m happy to pitch in wherever help is needed most to keep things running smoothly.

Expert in social media management (content creation, posting, engagement), video recording & editing (for two YouTube channels), photo editing, and managing online stores. Ready to handle any online task!

Creative & Artistic Projects: Sculpting and running art workshops (I can lead activities or assist with creative projects).

Practical & Hands-On Great with my hands. I am comfortable using electrical tools and can build or fix things when the right tools are available.

I'm a highly self-motivated individual who thrives on seeing a project through to completion. I believe in open, clear communication and always make sure expectations are understood on both sides. I am focused on contributing meaningfully to the host's goals. My natural discernment allows me to contribute meaningfully to the host's operations.

I’m passionate about gardening, native plants (eager to learn more!), and animal care. Many experiences with pet sitting/animal care: horses, dogs, ducks, birds, cats, fish, reptiles…

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My computer skills are good. I can help with photographing, taking videos, creating and updating blogs and accounts on multiple sites. I like creative things. I am a fine art, sculpture graduate and I am good with my hands. I like gardening and in Canada I work as a gardener, painter and a sculptress. I am good with kids and animals. The only thing is my language skills. If you have patience, I like to learn the language of the country that I am in.
