Hello! I’m Nicci, a 30-year-old nurse from Austria with a big love for adventure, nature, and cultural exchange.

When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors—hiking through mountains, biking along quiet roads, running in nature, or spending time with animals.

I feel most alive when I’m outside, learning new skills, getting my hands dirty, and being part of something real and meaningful.

I speak German as my native language and English very fluently. I spent 13 unforgettable months as an au pair in the USA, which truly shaped me. Living with a host family, adapting to a new culture, and becoming part of everyday life abroad made me realize that traveling is not just about seeing places—it’s about connecting with people.

Now I’m ready for my next adventure. My dream is to travel the world, help where help is needed, and experience different ways of life. I believe Workaway is the perfect opportunity to exchange skills, stories, and energy while discovering the true heart of each country.

I earned my nursing diploma in 2015 and worked for three years on a cardiology ward. After that, I gained several years of experience working as a pediatric nurse. Alongside my medical background, I am a nature-loving person who enjoys working outdoors, helping on farms, and taking part in harvest work.
I am responsible, reliable, open-minded, and highly adaptable. I do not shy away from hard work and enjoy being active. I also value human connection and truly enjoy working with and helping other people.
