Les activités qui nous intéressent :

We are planning to visit Sweden from April 21st to May 5th. We have two weeks available, we will travel by plane, and we won’t be bringing our dogs with us.

Description

We are David and Neus, a curious, hands-on couple from a small village, where we both grew up surrounded by nature, animals, and a family tradition of farming and livestock. This background has shaped who we are — we feel at home outdoors, we’re not afraid of hard work, and we truly enjoy simple, natural living.

We love animals (we come with two amazing dogs, Brut and Vilma 🐾), and nature is a big part of our daily life. We also have our own vegetable garden where we grow all kinds of things, so getting our hands dirty is something we genuinely enjoy.

David is a mechanic with experience working on cars, motorcycles, and airplanes, which makes him practical, adaptable, and a natural problem solver. Neus brings the creative side — she studied makeup for film and TV, loves painting and crafting, and has a strong background in customer service, so she’s great with people and always brings a positive, friendly energy. She is also vegetarian and enjoys cooking and sharing vegetarian meals.

We both love traveling and discovering new places, and we have an old camper van that reflects our way of seeing life — simple, flexible, and full of adventure. That’s why Workaway really appeals to us: we believe it’s one of the most authentic ways to travel, connect with local people, and experience real life in different places.

We have an intermediate level of English and we’re very motivated to improve it. We’re looking forward to practicing every day, gaining confidence, and learning through real experiences and conversations.

Above all, we are open-minded, hardworking, and excited to share, help, and learn wherever we go.

·Hands-on & Practical Work: Skilled in restoration, basic electrical work, and general maintenance tasks. Enjoys building, fixing, and finding practical solutions.
·Agricultural & Outdoor Skills: Grew up in a farming family, familiar with livestock care, gardening, and farm chores. Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions.
·Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Used to tackling new challenges, learning quickly, and adapting to different environments.

-Neus:

·Creative Skills: Studied makeup for film and TV, enjoys painting, crafting, and working on artistic projects. Attention to detail and visual creativity.
·Cooking & Food Prep: Vegetarian, experienced in cooking and preparing meals, including sharing culinary skills with others.
·Customer Service & Communication: Extensive experience in retail and client-facing roles, friendly, patient, and helpful. Strong interpersonal skills.
·Hands-on & Practical Work: Enjoys crafting, making things with hands, and participating in practical projects.
·Physical Endurance & Outdoor Experience: Completed the Camino de Santiago; enjoys walking, hiking, and staying active.
