Description
In the midst of a journey of realization that my ultimate happiness stems from gifts to others; largely, the gift of meaningful, loving, and intentional human connection. Furthermore, I am privileged to be a working naturalist and I desire to experience and learn from as many ecosystems as I can in my life :)

I grew up rurally and have always felt just as comfortable outdoors as I do indoors. My childhood was colored by exploring the woods, helping cut firewood for the stove, feeding the animals, and lots of climbing trees! As I became an adult I began to become overcome with curiosity and passion for studying the natural world that I was so fortunate to be born into. As such, for most of my 20s I have worked professionally in conservation, forestry, botany, and (briefly) in construction. Now I work all growing season long (May-October) as a field botanist working for my good friends. We are contracted by a multitude of agencies or private groups to collect vegetation data on natural areas. We also spend about a month a year teaching workshops and classes on how to identify native plant species. I feel richly blessed and privileged to be able to call my most intense curiosity and passion a part of my career!
A short summary: I am intensely curious and love working outdoors, where I love working with my hands, with animals, or especially with plants!Âge

Autres infos...
I am known to others as being an obsessively curious naturalist and botanist, but secondary to that I consider myself an artist. While I have been a photographer in some capacity for going on two decades now I consider words and language to be the natural medium for my artistic expression. I enjoy writing or reading poetry, especially those kinds of words that speak to one on an intangible level. I feel led to feed myself with the experience of meeting new people and different systems of living, both human and non-human, and I know those experiences can be expressed in word-form that can resonate emotionally with others.
Additionally I am a bit of a musician as I've been a drummer since I was young and I listen to music incessantly!
Above all I enjoy being my natural self: a friendly, caring, genuine person that people feel comfortable sharing company with.Informations complémentaires
