Hi we are Nick (33) and Molly (30) from the UK.
We are a mature, outgoing couple who are working professionals.
A bit about us…
We share a love of all cuisines and the culture that surrounds them. We’re very passionate foodies who want to travel and broaden our horizons. Between us we have 20 years of experience in hospitality. We are friendly, relaxed and open minded. We usually just get on with our day to day routine back on the south coast in sunny Brighton but we’re excitedly seeking a new adventure in foreign lands.
Back in 2019 we spent 5 months on our first Workaway journey in Italy and it was a fantastic experience. Our roles being a guest house manager and private chef. It tested our skills and opened our eyes to the possibilities that Workaway brings to the table.
There's something quite humbling about visiting a new country and immersing yourself into a new way of life. We have decided to continue with Workaway because we know we can gain invaluable experiences which is something that is very important for our growth.
We are taking a year out from March 2024 and hope to travel, work and gain inspiration for our next chapter along the way.

Molly:
"I am keen runner who enjoys morning jogs along the beach. I am health focused and have a passion for nutrition and organic cookery. Nutrition and personal health play a big part in my day to day life. Before my Tuscany Workaway I was part of a vegan workers co-operative where I had the opportunity to create my own dishes from scratch and see them come to fruition. I also baked vegan cakes and developed new recipes weekly, yet I mainly worked front of house as I enjoyed the social aspect of interacting with customers. We worked exclusively with sustainable companies and sourced all the produce from local organic suppliers. I'm business minded and work focused.
I took the opportunity to start my own small business and gained valuable skills and experience along the way. I am not vegan myself, as I am extremely passionate about all cuisines and enjoy cooking and eating all types of food. I am a keen home cook also and enjoy cooking in my free time. I’m often found reading cookbooks and seeking new knowledge of many different dishes from around the world”

Nick:
"I have always been a keen musician and I've been singing and playing the saxophone since I was 15. I have a strong love for animals, cats in particular. I would consider myself an environmentalist and continue to support wildlife charities such as WWF.
I have been a self-motivated student, worker, volunteer and a strong team player throughout my life. My most recent position as private chef (along side my partner Molly) has improved my cookery skills and given me complete creative freedom. Prior to this, my role involved the day-to-day running of a busy independent coffee shop and cafe in the heart of Brighton, UK. Here I manage a small team of staff.
I love to learn new skills, particularly where cooking is concerned, as good food is very important to me! My degree in Culture, History and Literature has boosted my passion for learning and engaging with new places and people."
