Hello! I’m Fuka and my friend name is Shuto. We are from Japan 🇯🇵. I'm 21 years old and living in Kyoto city with my grandmother in traditional Kyoto style house. I’m taking year off to go traveling to the world.
Shuto is living in Tokyo, We are good friends since we were elementary school students. We decided to travel together for a while.
We would like to see real life and learn about tradition in each country. I’d love to cook, sports, cleaning and more.
Shuto has a many knowledge about music, sports. and he has a experience of variety of work for instance, child care, hotel staff.
We are very tough and high motivation to do any thing!

I believe that my strengths are strong initiative and management skills. For example, I managed a collaborative event between the student orchestra I belong to and a company, and I also took the lead in organizing our orchestra’s 100th anniversary celebration.
In addition, I am not afraid to take action. I have even gone door-to-door to promote events, and I am tough enough to work long hours, such as standing for 11 hours a day.
I also enjoy cooking, and I can bake sponge cakes myself. Furthermore, since my family has both a dog and a cat, I know how to take dogs for walks and how to train them properly.

We stayed in her house for a week. Even short stay we've been wonderful time with her and her dogs and cats.

Our work were cleannig a garden, and stone cladding. It was so fun and learned how to make concrete as well.

Fuka and Shuto are two fun loving young people and they were a pleasure to have in my house. Their work was excellent and they were both great cooks. They were tidy in the house and they loved my animals. I was very happy to have hosted them if only for a few days.

We stayed his house for just 4days but it was super nice experience for us.
We painted Torii, and we did Japanese calligraphy as well.

We spent a fullfiling time even short time. Francisco was so nice guy and very kind.

Hosting Fuka was truly a wonderful experience, and we feel very lucky to have welcomed her into our home.

From the very first day, Fuka didn’t feel like a guest she immediately became part of our family. She was kind, respectful, cheerful, and always willing to help with anything that needed to be done. Her positive attitude and warm personality … read more made everyday life enjoyable for everyone in our home.

One of the sweetest things was how quickly our three dogs accepted her. From the moment she arrived, they seemed to know she was a friend. They loved spending time with her, following her around the house and playing with her. Fuka was equally happy to be around them, giving them lots of attention and affection. It was lovely to see the special bond they formed during her stay.

During her stay, Fuka helped Leo and our family with many daily activities. She assisted with preparing meals, taking care of our chickens, cleaning both inside and outside the house, organizing different household tasks, and was always happy to lend a hand without being asked twice. She approached every task with enthusiasm and responsibility, no matter how big or small.

Fuka also became involved in our family businesses. She helped us distribute promotional brochures for Safaris Studio, our photography and videography business, during the Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition, where she had the opportunity to interact with many local people and experience one of Tanzania’s biggest annual events.

We wanted Fuka to experience as much of Tanzania as possible, so we introduced her to different aspects of our culture and lifestyle. She joined us for a day trip to Mikumi National Park, where she experienced Tanzania’s incredible wildlife for the first time. It was especially memorable because she traveled with a group of around 40 local Tanzanians, giving her a unique opportunity to enjoy the park alongside local visitors rather than only international tourists. It was a fantastic cultural and wildlife experience that we all enjoyed together.

We also took her on a hike to a nearby mountain close to our home, where she enjoyed the beautiful scenery around Morogoro. She joined our the church prayer service, visited the local market with us to shop for fresh food and household items, and experienced many of the simple moments that make everyday life in Tanzania so special.

Beyond the work, the cultural exchange was the most rewarding part of hosting her. We learned so much about Japanese culture, traditions, daily life, and even a few Japanese words and expressions. Fuka also introduced us to Japanese food, and we enjoyed sharing our Tanzanian meals and cooking together. These moments created lasting memories for our family.

To be honest, we had an amazing time hosting Fuka, and we will definitely miss her. We are incredibly grateful that she chose to spend part of her journey with us, and our home will always be open to her if she ever returns to Tanzania.

We wholeheartedly recommend Fuka to any future host. She is hardworking, trustworthy, respectful, open-minded, and embraces every opportunity to learn and contribute. She is not afraid to step outside her comfort zone and genuinely appreciates cultural exchange, making her a valuable addition to any family or project.

Thank you, Fuka, for becoming part of our family. We hope our paths cross again someday, and you will always have a home with us in Tanzania.

Waleedのお家で4泊させていただきました。2回目のワーカウェイそして、男性1人の家ということもあり少し不安もあったのですが、そんな心配は無用でした。部屋は個室なのと、夏だったということもあり彼はお店のデッキで寝ていたので、夜は一人暮らしのようでした。

彼は犬や猫、ウサギ、鳩、ニワトリを飼っています。私の仕事は、彼らの餌やりやトイレ掃除、Waleed の作品づくりのお手伝い、料理の手伝い、家の掃除などでした。
それ以外の時間は自由で、海や彼のお店、繁華街に行きました。

とても広くて大きなベッドのあるお部屋を用意していただきました。
私が滞在させていただいたタイミングが、ちょうどお仕事のない時期だったようで、野菜をカットしたりなどのほんの少しだけの作業だったので逆に申し訳なく感じました。
三食用意してくださっただけでなく、一緒にゲームをしたり、観光地へ連れて行ってもらいました。
初めてのインドだったので、貴重な体験をさせていただき本当にありがとうございました。

Fuka is very polite, friendly and kind girl. She helped us in cutting and chopping. She was always ready to help.
We had spent amazing time together. She just mingled in our family very quickly.
She stayed for 3 days as she had short time in India. We hope to see you again. Best wishes for your future travels.
