Hi,
I am a 59 year old woman from the Netherlands. I live a good live together with my partner and our cat and have an 30 year old son. I am active, caring, curious and kind.
I used to work as nurse and later as a health care scientist/psychologist in mental healthcare but am pre retired now.
Nowadays I spend my time volunteering in an hospice, (hospitality), learning to play the guitar, Spanish and am an avid knitter. I love and need a challenge now and then. I like walking and just came back from walking 900 km on the French and Portugese Caminos. On these walks I especially love meeting people from all walks of live and staying in nice albergues.
I have travelled around the world many times and feel very much at home in English speaking countries like England, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
I like to make the world a little better by being kind to others and help out where possible especially in hospitality, some gardening and animal care. I like pets and all sorts of other animals.
It has always been a dream to work abroad. I never did it, until now! I am really looking forward to helping you out!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very practical, think in solutions, am good at organizing and planning. I like to tidy up and make it cozy somewhere.
People always say I'm a good hostess and I like to be involved in hospitality. That is what I am doing now in a hospice (end of life home) and did as a student (working in a restaurant).
From my work in psychiatry I have learned to deal with all kinds of people and I also like this. I am easy going, flexible and don't easily argue.
In the past we had, besides our own garden a vegetable garden so I know what gardening is.
I have intermediate computer skills, can type blind, work with excel and always do the administration at home.
I like all sorts of animals and would love to learn more about caring for them.

I like to get to know as much about the world as possible. If I could choose again I would probably have studied social geography. I am glad that I have been able to travel extensively around the world.
At home I like reading and listening to podcasts, I like knitting and walking, spending time with family and friends. I go often to the gym and like to cook. Good food is important to me.
