Helloooo!
I am a bubbly and kind soul who loves meeting new people, learning their stories and putting smiles on their faces. In addition to this I also appreciate my own space and value time to work on myself.
Over the last six years I have been mostly on the move, working and traveling as much as possible in order to explore the many interesting cultures and nature that our beautiful planet has to offer. In the last couple of years I have felt the need to slow down a little and to start thinking about what I would like to do more in the long term. I have slowly been cultivating a dream of one day having my own sustainable permaculture farm, living relatively off-grid and building and living sustainably. I would also like to combine this idea with hosting people from around the world to turn this farm into an emotional wellbeing centre, providing a safe space where people can reconnect with themselves and the world around them.

Currently I only have a very limited knowledge of permaculture in practice and sustainable building and so I plan to dedicate the next chapter of my life to learning as much as I can through those who are already living in a similar way.

This brings me to Workaway!

A little more about me: I am a qualified English Teacher, having taught in various countries and am more than happy to help you or anyone in your area with their English.

I'm currently learning Spanish and would love an opportunity to practice/learn more (although I am still very much a beginner).

Aside from travelling I have a passion for musical theatre, music (generic, I know, but let's talk about it!), philosophy (having studied Law and Philosophy at Keele University), writing and learning and sharing from others.

I am currently working online as a freelance writer and would like to continue this whilst Workawaying.

I'm a very hard-working person in general, and care deeply about the humans around me.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

To me, my number 1 skill is my ability to approach every situation with an open mind and full motivation, making me perfect for any general work you may have. Some of my other skills and experience include: Teaching English. Tree Planting (I have planted around 180,000 trees). First Aid/Mental Health First Aid/Counselling Skills level2. Singing/playing guitar (although sometimes nervous performing). Tourism. Basic handiwork/gardening/woodwork (not qualified, just learnt by doing).

Autres infos...

I am a very keen and quick to learn new things but also have a large repertoire of skills that I have picked up through my travels. Some may be useless, like being able to touch my nose with my tongue, but some may be useful, like my ability to make a fire with limited materials...even in the snow!
