  Hello everyone!
  
  My name is Donatella, I'm 34 years old and I come from the beautiful island of Sicily, in southern Italy.
  
  I'm a solo traveller, a digital nomad and an eternal student. Travelling has always been a huge part of my life. I love meeting people, discovering new places, experiencing different cultures and making connections around the world.
  
  I'm passionate about nature, hiking, camping, photography and languages.
  
  I'm currently working as an online Italian teacher and running my own language academy, which allows me to work remotely while travelling.
  
  In the past, I've also worked as a cultural mediator with North African migrants in reception centres, and photography has occasionally been part of my professional life.
  
  ### My travels
  
  I've travelled extensively around the world and spent longer periods living in different countries.
  
  I love slow travel and getting to know places beyond the usual tourist experience.
  
  ### My home in Sicily
  
  At the moment, I'm living in my countryside home in the mountains between Castellammare del Golfo and San Vito Lo Capo, in western Sicily.
  
  I live here with Circe, my sweet rescue dog, who has been part of my life since 2020.
  
  Living alone in the countryside is beautiful, but maintaining a house and taking care of the surrounding land isn't always easy!
  
  I sometimes need help with gardening, general maintenance and small projects around the house.
  
  I usually spend part of the year in Sicily and travel during the colder months, so I'm also interested in meeting responsible, animal-loving people who might be interested in house and pet sitting while I'm away.
  
  I love the idea of exchanging experiences, sharing stories and meeting people from different backgrounds. As a traveller myself, I know how meaningful it can be to experience a place through the people who live there.

  This place is a small paradise. You will be in contact with the authentic Sicilian agricultural territory. I will show you around, the beautiful beaches and secret corners.
  I'm an Italian teacher, it will be my plaisure to exchange your work with Italian lessons (plus rooms and board, of course). I can teach you also French or English (for Italians workawayers) and a bit of Arabic. I practice sport so, if you need some motivation to training, it will be my plaisure to do it together.
  I read the Tarots sometimes, I’m still studying them, so I would like to experience my skills with you.

  Aide

  I need help with gardening and general maintenance of the house, few things have to be fixed. I will love someone with green skills who can give me some "gardening lesson". I will love to plant many threes and flowers and I really need someone with carpenter skills to restore some part of the house. A bit painting as well need to be done.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own room inside the house where my dog and I live. The other spaces of the house are shared with me (bathroom, kitchen, living room).
  Important: as I live far away from the nearest city, It will be better to have your own car, otherwise you'll need to be prepared to a real rural life (you can make really nice hikings from here) and reach the city with me, when is possible.
