I am in my fourth year of college studying Global English with minors in Spanish and Communications. My dream is to teach English as a second language in Central or South America after I graduate, so I would love to gain both personal and career experience through Workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have taken 3 semesters worth of college courses geared towards language and teaching English as a second language. I also participated in 2 service-learning programs with both adolescents and adults. For the first program, I worked with children in ESL courses and helped them with homework. In the second program, I was partnered with international students studying at my school. We had weekly meetings where we would speak both Spanish and English, as well as learn about each others' cultures. Through my university, I also earned an Intercultural Communication Partner Certificate by volunteering with the Oral English Proficiency Program on campus.

I am in the salsa/bachata club at my university, so I enjoy dancing for fun. I am a creative individual, so I also like to paint, draw, and do any type of craft. Music and singing are great outlets for me, and I listen to many genres. My passion has always been to travel and learn about other cultures, so I am very eager to find new opportunities with Workaway.
