Hey there ! I'm Mila. This year I acually ended my studies in intercultural psychology in Paris, and I'm working with asylium seeker in a half time job. In june, I'm planning to move for an undetermined time, first in Greece, then in Brazil.
What truly motivates me is the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and share in the richness of different cultures. I believe in the power of cultural exchange to broaden perspectives and create lasting connections. I'm also very curious to see other approach of mental health in other countries, other cultures.
I approach every experience with an open mind and a willingness to adapt. I believe in the beauty of learning from each other, embracing differences, and finding common ground.
Volunteering aligns with my values of cultural exchange, and sustainable travel. I believe in the idea that we can learn so much from each other,and I can't wait to meet you !

I would love to share my native language by teaching it, in a academic or more funny way (using cinema, theater, funny stories, songs etc..). I can also teach english or spanish in a beginner level even if they are not my natives languages.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Last month, I experienced my first workaway in a animal center, with more than 200 animals tat we had to take care of, everydays. It was an amazing experience that helped me to get confident with every kind of animals (pigs, camel, horses, rabbit, goat etc..), feeding and taking care of them, cleaning their spaces and giving them a lot of love !! I can say that I am now able to doing a similar experience another time.

With my background working with kids, in schools, children's center, in social organizations, as au pair in spain, I can easily take care of childrens, make activites, games with them.
My engagement in social organization helping migrants and refugee permit me to give conferences, trainship about human rights and psychological effect of migration.

I do a lot of sport, specially brazilian ju-jitsu, and I would love to use it during my volunteering.

I always lived in share appartement, with 2, 5 or 10 people the last 5 years, so Living in community, sharing and keeping clean shared espaces i not a problem for me.

I would love to learn more about construction work, gardening so if you need help with thoses tasks do not hesitate to contact me, I can learn quickly.

I would like to mention my interest for creative activites, art in all the forms, for me art is such a powerful way to express yourself, but also to connect with other people. If I have the opportunity, I would love to engage collective project using art.

As I already said, I am also a passionate of sport, especially martial arts. I am actually starting ju-jitsu, in competition and i would love to pursue this passion during my travel.
