Description
Hello hosts. We are a mature, reliable couple with responsible jobs, and own our home in New Zealand. We both did a lot of travelling through Europe, Asia and North America and living abroad in our twenties and then focused on raising our two wonderful children and building a family life. Now the kids are adults, we're back travelling and are keen to do both house/pet sitting and volunteering. We enjoy helping people and love animals, especially dogs. We both have Irish (EU) and New Zealand passports and are double vaccinated.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We're both project managers! Michael is a Civil Construction Project Manager for a multinational Civil Construction company. His skills outside of work include DIY, painting, gardening and pruning projects, firewood, general maintenance type of work. His other experiences include helping on a farm, home renovations and working on the construction of our own strawbale house. Michael was born in Ireland and has lived in the UK, Australia and has been permanently based in New Zealand for over 20 years.
Jo is Head of building projects for Habitat For Humanity and project oversees all local housing developments and housing-related projects for the Charity. Outside of work she loves cooking, gardening and pruning projects, and caring for animals (especially dogs). Her other experiences include working as a professional event manager for many years, helping on a farm, home renovations and working on the construction of our own strawbale house. Jo was born in New Zealand and has lived in the UK, Ireland, Australia and has been permanently based back in New Zealand for the last 20 years+.

Always pleasent to be around, they respected our privacy and gave us time alone. They washed up every evening as well so thats a nice treat for me!
