Hi there!

We’re Serhat and Meltem, a couple currently traveling through Europe in our self-built campervan. We're passionate about cultural exchange, creativity, and meaningful connections.

We are dual citizens of Turkey and Canada. Serhat is a former teacher who taught both Turkish and English, and also worked as a barista at Starbucks in Canada for 2.5 years. He loves coffee, chatting with people, reading Murakami novels, and listening to jazz.

Meltem is a creative soul with experience in coffee roasting and barista work from a café in Toronto (1.5 years). She's also a talented painter, graphic designer, and photographer who brings a unique artistic touch to everything we do.

We’re open-minded, reliable, and love learning new skills. Whether it’s helping around the house, assisting with creative projects, making coffee, or just sharing stories and experiences—we’re happy to contribute however we can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Language Teaching: With a background in teaching both Turkish and English to children, I have developed strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable teaching style. I enjoy helping others learn and grow in a supportive environment.

Customer Service and Barista Experience: My 2.5 years as a Barista at Starbucks in Canada have honed my ability to provide excellent customer service, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced environments. I also have a keen interest in coffee and enjoy making different coffee beverages.

Server Experience: In addition to my barista work, I have also worked as a Server in Canada. This experience further strengthened my customer service skills, taught me how to multitask effectively, and gave me a deeper understanding of the food and beverage industry.

Interpersonal Skills: I am a people person, naturally outgoing and friendly. I easily connect with others and work well in team settings. My multicultural background allows me to adapt and relate to people from different cultures.

Adaptability and Travel Experience: As someone who loves to travel, I am highly adaptable to new environments and enjoy learning from new experiences. I have a strong sense of curiosity and openness to different ways of living.

Creativity and Problem-Solving: Whether it's coming up with engaging lessons for children, finding efficient ways to handle a busy coffee shop, or navigating a new culture, I am resourceful and able to think on my feet.

We also enjoy playing billiards, cycling, and driving. These hobbies keep us active and allow us to unwind in different ways. Whether it's a friendly game of pool, exploring new places on our bikes, or hitting the road for a drive,we love staying engaged and having fun!
