  Description

  OLA!
  We are Yan and Noa, living our dream life in portugal since 2022 with our beautiful dogs.
  Located 14 km of Monchique municipality (surrounded with beautiful mountain range) of southern Portugal,Algarve. Here we enjoy mediterranean climate with warm to hot summers and mild, wet winters.
  
  Our off grid mountain farm is 6.5-hectare surrounded with medronho trees, oaks, pine and eucalyptus. We have our own spring water, a stream running along the bottom and a solar system.
  
  At the moment, we are working on finishing a natural house project. And at the same time fixing around our private dam.
  There is a vegetable garden that needs some attention, fruit trees that needs to be watered, free range chickens to take care of and the land also has a cat and 2 dogs that needs some love. (:
  
  When we arrived at this land, it had not been touched for decades. because of this, we are constantly developing our little peace of heaven so there is always something to do.
  
  We our happy to share our knowledge and know there is always something to learn from the other! Yan comes from the electricity world and Noa from hospitality. Both love to host and have people around.
  
  
  our offering-
  ACCOMMODATION
  There are two vans, one large double+single bed and the other smaller with a double bed.
  Two 6m bell tent fitted up to 3 people comfortably.
  Outdoor shower with water heating.
  
  WATER SYSTEM
  Because we are not connected to the sewer and water system we use compost toilets and bio - organic materials only.
  
  FOOD
  There is a fully equipped kitchen.
  Morning is free use at the kitchen, we share a hot lunch together and some evenings there is also a joint dinner.
  There will always be products in stock for self use.
  
  Please note that
  there is a fully equipped and stucked outdoor kitchen for free use (beside the hot meals we provide and share together).
  the land is remote so you will need your own transport in and out of it if you would like to travel.
  All products must be biological on land.

  here where we don't have to be anything, but together we can do and learn anything.
  
  In our projects on the mountain we try to work mostly with natural materials, usually combined with wood. We work with raw materials around us (trees from the land, rocks we collect) and trying to stay as natural as possible is within our gole.
  Working and experimenting with all tools and building materials (non-toxic).

  currently finnishing buildong our dream house. We are at the last part in need for some hands for natural cob walls (mud walls) and at the same time organizing around our privet dam.
  If you're good with kids, we would be happy to get some help with our little one so Noa can get things done.

  Depending on availability, either in the vans or in the 6m bell tent. there are fans if needed. There is power connection in all accomodation.
  There's 2 areas for staying in, depending on availability. the toilets and showers are right next to the accomodation.

  Autres infos...

  The land has a stream running along the bottom part, and a dam with pleasant sitting areas were you can spend the hot days or walk around the forest to explore.
  If you arrive without transportation, we can always try to arrange outbound trips or pick-up with us if you want to travel in your free time.
  Monchique is about 20 min from us, and theres the south cost beaches that are an hour or the west cost beaches the same amount of time.
