Hi, my name is Maya and after graduating university 2 years ago with a degree in Education I have been traveling the world! I have been lucky enough to go to over 30 countries and have spent a good chunk of time in Japan where my mother is from.
In college I was apart of the Japanese club and danced Hawaiian Hula which I really enjoyed!
I am passionate about traveling, being outside, playing/watching sports, eating yummy food, walking everywhere and exploring new places!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked at a sports camp for the past 6 summers (3 years as a counselor, 3 years as the site manager). I was in charge of 120 campers and 20 counselors which allowed me to gain many leadership skills. In college I worked at a daycare and have most of my job experience working with children!
I have good time management and leadership/collaboration skills being the Event Coordinator at my university’s Japanese club. I can also speak Japanese!

I love game nights! Recently I got into Dutch Blitz/ Pounce and my friends and I constantly play it! I also like Uno, Monopoly, or any other board/ card game.
I grew up playing volleyball, soccer, lacrosse and crew and love staying active and being outside. I grew up in Seattle, WA so going to baseball, football and soccer games were always so fun.
Walking in new areas and stumbling upon cafes, parks and beaches is another passion!
