Hi,

I'm currently living in Brussels after travelling for 6 years. I travelled from Europe via Africa to South America, boat hitch hiking to cross the Atlantic Ocean and hop on most of the Carribean Islands. After that I spent more than 3 years in South-America.
I participated in many volunteering projects that I found via via or through social media groups. Hence, I don't have many reviews on my Workaway profile, but don't hesitate to ask me more details. Some of my experiences are the following:

* Sailing: night watches, rigging, dinghy driving, cooking while sailing ;)
* Bioconstruction: Adobe, super adobe, mud and bamboo
* Gardening: maintenance, clearing bushes, making fences, planting
* Mural paintings
* Hostels: Reception, cleaning, preparing breakfast, managing reservations, tourist info
* Animal care: feeding dogs, cats, goats, cows, ducks, rabbits. Cleaning enclosures or coops.

In Brussels I used to work for a theatre company. I have experience in organising small events, communication, promotion, networking.

My motivation for volunteering is to get to know the world in a different way and learning new skills.

Things I'd like to learn or try:

Wildlife conservation, animal care, self sustainability (making bread, cheese...) Construction/carpentry, horse riding

Things I can offer:

Besides the skills I've listed in my experiences, I can mostly offer time, motivation, 2 hands and good conversation.
I'm a quick learner and am not afraid to work hard or end up sweaty and dirty in the end of the day :-)

I do find it important though to have a good balance with time off. Volunteering is part of my travelling so I find it important to also get to know the area. I love hiking and outdoor stuff, so motivated to share.
