Hello hello 🌟

Welcome to my unfinished profile.:)
I am new to Workaway, but I have felt drawn to it for years and now I feel the time has come! 🌱

Currently I am very drawn to learning about growing our food, permaculture and living in closer connection to the land and understanding better all the species we share the planet with. My current skills are however very limited, but I hope I can still be a helpful presence and I am committed to doing my best if you decide to welcome me in your space.:)

I am 31 years old. My hometown is Prague in the Czech Republic where I studied and worked in between years abroad. In my twenties I have gone to several long-term study abroad adventures which have been all wonderful and so impactful. And now in my thirties I still feel called to explore the world in a slow and sustainable way and learn and grow in new environments.

My academic background is in languages and social anthropology. I have worked as a language teacher, intercultural worker in an NGO and at an elementary school in an afterschool club and as an assistant there. My last job at the elementary school was difficult to leave this June because it felt like such a dream job playing, crafting and spending time outside in the forest alongside kids. But I have felt a strong pull and longing to experience long-term living abroad again and I decided to follow it, so here we are.:)

I consider myself a kind and empathetic person, I enjoy my quiet alone time but also thrive in a community of like minded people. Throwing some #keywords for me here haha: yoga, meditation, communication, psychology, ecophilosophy, sustainability, creativity, photography, lying on the grass...

I am most excited to learn skills and knowledge around gardening, growing plants, weeding, permaculture, ecoagriculture, self-sufficient living...
But I am also happy to clean, help aroung the house, help with cooking or looking after the kids....
