We are a New Zealand couple, in our late 20s-early 30s, currently living and working in Ireland while traveling parts of Europe. We are both keen to gain unique life experiences during our time abroad to allow for personal growth while contributing to something meaningful.

We have extensive volunteer experience, including Wildlife Conservstion in Zimbabwe and other community-based projects in Zambia, Africa. Henry loves team sports and has experience coaching kids. He has also been a poultry and dairy farmer for nearly 10 years. Marissa enjoys yoga, Pilates and dance. We both love the outdoors, hiking, animals, and we are happy to get stuck into gardening, maintenance or any other projects.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My name is Marissa, I’m 30 years old from New Zealand and currently living and working abroad. I work in Human Resources/people management and I have lots of experience in customer facing roles/retail management so it’s safe to say: I have a passion for people!

I have volunteered my time to projects abroad before, including wildlife conservation in Zimbabwe which involved a lot of physical labour such as removal of alien vegetation, fencing, Waterhole creation, Freshwater ecosystem analysis, Animal and bird monitoring and tracking, Road maintenance, Upkeep of river crossings, general reserve clean ups, and overnight camping on the reserve.

I also volunteered in Zambia on a childcare project and an elderly care project which was a meaningful and eye opening experience.

In my free time I love nature walks, coffee, yoga/pilates and occasionally dance!
