**Enthusiastic traveller looking for a last-minute host from September 15**
Hi! I’m Margaux, a curious and positive traveller who loves learning new things and meeting people from all walks of life. I’m always eager to take on new challenges, discover different ways of living, and share meaningful experiences.
I recently graduated in neuropsychology, but instead of heading straight into a traditional career, I chose to travel, discover new cultures, and live experiences that truly enrich me. I’ve been exploring Europe for a year through Workaway, which gave me the chance to meet wonderful people, make lasting friendships, and live in amazing places.
In Canada, I spent a year working on a farm. What started as a Workaway placement turned into a real job, where I took on the role of farm and volunteer manager. I learned a lot about gardening, teamwork, and also about myself. I especially enjoyed teaching and guiding volunteers, and seeing how much we could achieve together.

I would describe myself as patient, organized, reliable, adaptable… and simply kind. I believe that kindness and open-mindedness are the best ways to connect with others and make every experience meaningful.
🌱 My interests
I love being outdoors - hiking, exploring nature, and travelling. I also have a big interest in science and enjoy learning about the world around me.
🔨 What I’m looking for
Through Workaway, I’d love to learn new practical skills (gardening, construction, DIY…), meet new people and immerse myself in different cultures. I’m flexible, motivated, and happy to help with whatever is needed.

The hardest part of travelling for me is saying goodbye - but that only means I’ve had fabulous experiences and made amazing connections along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Through workaway, I've done some renovation, and I'm super excited about learning more about that. I also participated in the olive harvest in Italy, and did some gardening,wood splitting, painting, cleaning, took care of animals,... And most importantly, I've met amazing folks from all over the world.
I’ve also done some baby-sitting, cleaning in lodges, I already took care of other persons’ animals. I have been a seasonal worker during many years for picking blueberries and managed the sale of these pretty blue berries. I've also been an animator in a youth movement. I learn quickly and am well organized. I am quite meticulous and like when my work is well done.
As part of my psychology studies, I have developed attentive listening, realised neuropsychological assessments and therapy with children, adults and seniors with neurological disorder. I have learnt to manage children with various disorders and performed an internship with adults with disabilities.
I regularly cook and especially love making desserts (and savour them!). Open-minded, I love to discover other cultures, other languages (in particular English that I would like to improve). I love animals and am very concerned about their well-being. Environmental protection is very important for me, and I try to reduce my ecological footprint as much as possible.

I am looking forward to meeting people while I travel and do some activities with others. I like hiking, city-trips and board games. I would also like to learn to sail and dive.

We were 4, so we could turn during the work and it was never boring. I learned new skills while renovating some old windows, and we did a lot of woodwork and some cleaning of their houses. Good mood and music were always there.

Farmwork was clearly not something you had done before, and it seemed a bit far from your comfort zone. Eventually, though, you were a great help in the vegetable garden, where you did a lot of weeding and lateron sowed some of the earliest vegetable seeds.
