Hej I´m Maren sadly the dog on the picture is not mine.

This is my first time that I travel allone and try workaway. I was in Sweden twice in the past but it were only holidays where you don´t really get to know what the people are and living there is like. I want to change that and want to get to know Sweden and its people better, partly by doing an online language course and partly by working in different places in Sweden. I´m really looking forward to broden my horizon in Sweden.


Generally about me: I am more of a shy person that wants to get out of my comfort zone. I just started to play the saxophone and gonne take my instrument with me during my journey. Im really interested in people and their lives. Currently I study political science and I love and hate to talk about politics. In my freetime I like to bake, read, write, walk around and discover new things. Sometimes I can be a bit clumsy but that makes situations way funnier than they would be.

I am really interested in learning Swedish. I tried to do it by myself but that is rather difficult. So I am starting an online Swedish course in January and I am looking forward to use and improve the language skills I learn with native speakers.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience at builing up Ikea furniture. In the past I helped my Mom in the garden. And I like to be creative and craft my own gifts for my friends and family.
When I was little we had a cat and I really like dogs, but my experience with animals is limited. I also like to help in the household and keep the daily life going. I speak English, German and currently I am learning swedish. All in all I´m a fast learner and I like to learn new skills.
