Description
I love volunteering to help and meet people motivated by meaningful projects. I have had different experiences, such as helping on a farm, managing guest accommodations, holding workshops for children and working in an office.
New environments and activities give me a lot of energy and help me appreciate my daily routine and my life project. I am a music teacher, I really enjoy interacting with my students and, in general, with all people with an open approach to life.
I spend my free time in nature, learning new things and participating in cultural events. Living in a small town in the countryside of north-east Italy, I am very lucky to be able to enjoy these activities, whether in the mountains or at the seaside or in nearby cities such as Venice.
Travelling is one of my passions and I find that both the closest neighboring countries and the far ones are a way to meet new people and new cultures to live, feel and think from a different point of view.
In short, I would like to contribute to projects that improve the world and lead me to learn from others to be a better person

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Currently, my main occupation is music education and teaching, an activity that I have combined for some years by conducting workshops for teenagers on various artistic subjects such as yoga and meditation, origami, theater and cinema. As a department head of my school, I have organized artistic events collaborating with various associations and institutions.
The organizational experience led me to deal with office activities, write projects, plan and manage everything that was necessary, from organizing meetings to maintaining contact with people.
I am not a professional on the computer, I can manage simple tasks using common programs.
As for accommodation management, I experimented with different approaches, volunteering in pilgrim hostels, art hotels and even a retirement home. Welcoming guests, serving meals, cleaning, were some of the tasks I took care of, but in general I was available to help with extra things like cooking (as an Italian, I love it!), fixing broken objects or painting walls.
I found the experience on the farm quite interesting, even though I was born in the city and am not used to rural life. I really enjoyed helping with gardening, feeding the animals or collecting firewood. I noticed that this type of environment helps me stay focused, giving me a sense of peace and balance. I don't have specific skills, so I need guidance but I do it with pleasure.

As for artistic activities I like to play music, acting, dancing, yoga and tai chi. Although I haven't practiced for a while, I am a certified massage therapist in Thailand. As for sports, I enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming and diving.
