Hi, we are Marion and Caroline, two friends from France traveling to New Zealand !

We are excited to start this Work Away adventure in New Zealand to connect with people, contribute to community projects, and at the same time discover New Zealand, Maori culture, and much more.

We love meeting new people and embracing new experiences ! We are seeking for a meaningful experience where we can immerse ourselves fully and make a positive impact, so for us , doing workaways seems to be the best way to experience this :)

We both love traveling, discovering new cultures, taking care of animals, and engaging in language exchange.


Marion :

I already did workaways all over Japan, a couple of years ago ! I worked in different fields like permaculture farms, animals farms (particularly horses), traditonnal japanese hostel, winter works and more. I deeply liked those experiences and wanted to try again in New Zealand !

I'm working for a travel agency in France. I'm pretty active. I love swimming, horse riding, snowboarding and having fun around board games and good music ! I'm also hardworking, always volunteer and happy to try new things and learn new skills !

Caroline :

I have experience with children, as I worked as an elementary school teacher in France. I enjoy biking, walking in the forest (or nature in general), traveling, and cooking. My grandparents have a farm, so I'm used to being in contact with animals (mostly chickens and sheep) and gardening. I'm easygoing and love learning new things.

We are particularly interested in opportunities that involve outdoor work like organic farming, taking care of aniamals and gardening.

I have experience in teaching to primary children, so I can work in team, and adapt very easily (Caroline).
