Hi! I'm Malou , I graduated high-school in summer 2024 and I'm actually having my GAP-year before starting my studies in October '25.
Until now I did 2 months of volunteering in a Christian community in France, Taizé, then I stayed in North of Italy as an Aupair from Oktober to December 2024.
In February I did 2 months of an internship in a sustainable cosmetic company in Belgium and now I'm in Portugal looking for nice projects!
Born in Montreal, so Canadian and due to my parents German and French, I love to learn new languages, travel and to discover other cultures!
I'm a very empathic, optimistic and spontaneous person who loves to experience new situations and to meet people. I'm creative and responsible too, I paint and I can express myself better through texts, music or drawings than orally. I like to be in nature and I have a cat #catlover

I love to learn new languages. I'm very interested in Russian, Arabic or Vietnamese but I'm ready to learn any other as well. During high-school, I taught French to pupils in an elementary school, so I have some experiences :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As I'm the oldest of my siblings I have a certain sense of responsibility and I can easily play with children and give support with homework. Also I'm not a good cook but I love to bake or to do house cleaning,
I compare it to a game.
Until now we had several pets mostly hamsters and rabbits, but lately a cat too. I like to take care of animals and I consider them as living beings such as humans. In my childhood I often did horseriding, so I'm also able to handle big animals, to feed and to clean them.
At home, we have a garden so I'm used to gardening, raking leaves, harvesting fruit, digging up flower beds and so on.
One of my longest hobbies beneath painting is music. I'm a violinist and I sang in a choir for about 7 years. Music influences me a lot, my mood such as my way of thinking.

I love team sports like volleyball, dancing or pingpong, but also individual sports like inline skating, jogging or swimming.
I'm a big dreamer, but when I have a goal I do everything to achieve it. I like movie nights and do bike trips with my friends.
