Hi there, my name is Malin, I'm an 19-year-old girl from the beautiful south of Germany, who's always been crazy about horses and ready for any adventure.

Since I'm finally free from school, I want to spend my gap year working with horses. I am interested in ranch- and farmlife and would like to gain new experiences and perspectives. Currently, I'm tending a friend's horse on a regular basis. So far, I have mainly ridden English but I'm very eager to learn western riding!

Travelling is one of our family passions. We have visited many places throughout Europe as well as some in North-America. I can't wait to see more of the world and make new friends.

Being reliable, punctual and respectful has been very important in all the internships I've done. I think some of the other personal characteristics I have that can be useful are being naturally a calm and patient person, a good team-player and someone who is flexible and open to learning about new approaches and facing new challenges.
I love to be outdoors and due to my height (184cm/6ft) i don't really mind physical work.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been around animals my entire life. In particular horses and dogs, but I'm quite good with all animals.
I have been riding since I was 7 years old, so for 12 years by now. I was never looking for great success, but for comradeship and communication between horse and human.
Tho I never pass down an opportunity to learn and improve my riding.

Another thing that is being said about me, is that I'm good with people, in particular with children. (I have volunteered with children with and without disabilities for several years and have done internships in this field several times.)
I am hardworking and can pick up new skills quickly. Also, I get on easily with people and adapt to nearly any situation.
Apparently, my cooking skills are not so bad, either, because I am often praised for my food, especially for my lasagna. ;)
In Summer 21 I got my Scuba Diver certification.
I've been ballroom dancing standard and Latin for three years now and absolutely love it.
