Hi! My name is Min-Chuan Chiu, and I’m from Taiwan. For the past three years, I’ve worked as a professional florist. My passion for flowers extends to all kinds of plants—back home, my balcony was filled with orchids and greenery. Even when life gets busy, I always find peace in pruning and caring for my plants; they are like family to me.

Equine Care Experience (Berlin, Germany)
During my six months in Berlin, I spent three months volunteering at a local stable. This experience was incredibly rewarding and taught me a lot about animal husbandry and patience. My daily responsibilities included:

Daily Care & Grooming: I was responsible for feeding the horses and grooming them. I spent hours brushing their coats and manes (hairy parts and tails); most of them really enjoyed the "massages" I gave them!

Maintenance & Protection: I learned how to clean their hooves and legs. During the cold winter, I applied coconut oil to their legs to protect their skin from the harsh weather—a task that required a lot of trust-building, as horses can be quite sensitive about their legs.

Bonding: My favorite part was leading the horses for walks along the pathways.

These three months taught me how to connect with animals and work reliably in an outdoor environment. I truly cherished the time spent with these beautiful creatures, and it's a memory I will never forget.



My Journey
After spending six wonderful months in Berlin exploring its museums, restaurants, and cultural events, I am now eager to explore new cities and meet new people. I look forward to contributing my skills and sharing positive energy with new friends and hosts!

I am an organized person who values a clean and cozy environment. Since I’ve been sensitive to dust since I was young, I’ve developed a strong habit of keeping my living and public spaces tidy—to me, a clean space is as satisfying as a delicious meal! To stay balanced, I practice yoga regularly after work. I prefer consistent, short sessions over intense workouts to keep my energy up.

Cooking & Growth
I love cooking and enjoy experimenting with new recipes I find online. I believe that "you will be better than yesterday"—even if a dish doesn't turn out perfect the first time, it’s a valuable part of the learning process. I approach life with faith and patience, knowing that great things take time to achieve.
