Art projects! I love creating, lots of experience with everything from recycled art, interior design, drawing, painting, graphics, and photoshop.

In 2019 I gave up my home in the USA and joined Workaway to travel the world volunteering, and checking a few things off the bucket list. I happened to be in Queensland Australia when Covid happened and volunteered at Chenrezig Institute, next went to New Zealand volunteering at Chandrakirti and Mahamudra (Tibetan Buddhist Retreat Centers) which was all very wonderful and nourishing, and then back to Queensland for another fabulous 3 months with 2 very inspiring artists!

Since then I have been to Bali, Thailand and India and am currently back in Australia at Chenrezig which is good fun to see friends and catch up. In India I painted a small mural and now at Chenrezig I am helping to give some retreat huts a new look, painting in the art studio, and helping out in the cafe.

What I can offer is that I am very very creative! I love making places beautiful, solving problems, organizing, I always have plenty of creative ideas. I am good at noticing what needs to be done and getting it done, have a loving and caring approach to what I am doing and I am enjoying life!
Specific skills include ....interior design and decorating, graphic design, photoshop, creating art from recycled materials, gardening, landscaping, plant care, and organizing.

Before leaving the USA, I lived simply, off grid on 20 acres in New Mexico, for 16 years and while living this lifestyle I also created sculptures and furniture from recycled materials and had my work in quite a few galleries. Even ended up creating some for a 5 star resort in Thailand which was good fun!

I enjoy being in nature and also love gardening. I have a very fun art background... You can view my artwork on my Instagram page at melissa.ireland.56. ...I enjoy drawing, painting, creating land art, as well as creating in Photoshop. I have also owned my own gallery and helped have helped some folks with interior design (loved creating a dorm room for Chenrezig Institute in Queensland!). Plus I have very much enjoyed helping folks to create, or improve rooms to be used as air bnb rentals.

I have been studying and practicing Ayurveda, am a Chopra certified Meditation teacher and occasionally lead online meditations plus was grateful to lead meditations while at Mahamudra. I have an Australian Bush Flower essence consulting practice. These are all tools that have helped me tremendously in life and I love sharing them.

Also...
I have been actively taking care of myself since I was 19 when I started working in Health Food stores. All of these years I have mostly eaten organic, and for many years have been meditating and studying the healing arts, basically being my own therapist and learning what I can do to live a healthy life while I go through all the challenges and experiences life has to offer. This has all helped tremendously of course and I am dedicated to doing it with some fun and humor too! Its a must!

Happy to also be helpful supporting you in living a healthy lifestyle that is unique to your needs as well and I also have some experience with elder care.

I am not your typical 67 year old...( its the new 40! smiles!), so hoping that if the age throws you, you will be open to do a double check and perhaps we could have a zoom together before you decide.
