Hello Workaway Community!

My name is Daniel, I’m 33 years old and I live in Budapest. I’m new to Workaway and really excited to be here.

I currently work as a lawyer, but over the past few years I’ve also completed a filmmaking course. Through this, I had the chance to collaborate with civil organizations and take part in creating small film projects. These experiences allowed me to work creatively, in teams, and on meaningful initiatives beyond my everyday work.

I would love to volunteer mainly to improve my English skills and to gain new experiences abroad. My English is at a conversational level, and I’m constantly learning and practicing. I enjoy communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

I grew up with four siblings, so cooperation, flexibility, and shared responsibilities have always been part of my life. I like being around people, I’m social, open-minded, and easy to get along with, but I’m also comfortable working independently when needed.

Environmental awareness has always been important to me. I enjoy learning by doing and I’m curious about alternative lifestyles that are closer to nature.
In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga and pilates, and I love going hiking with friends. I grew up around dogs, so I feel very comfortable with animals and enjoy taking care of them.

I hope I can help with everyday tasks, household chores, and projects with my positive attitude, reliability, and creativity. I’m really looking forward to meeting new people, discovering new places, and learning along the way.
