Hi! My name is Marta, I’m 29 years old and I’m from Italy. I’m a cheerful, kind and curious person. In 2017 i spent some time in Dublin working as an au pair. It was a wonderful experience , i got along very well with the host family and learned a lot about Irish culture.
Over the years I’ve worked as a babysitter and a waitress, but since I turned 25 I’ve discovered my true passion: flowers.
I work as a florist, and I truly love what I do, being surrounded by nature, growing flowers and creating floral arrangements.
For the past two three I’ve been working in a garden center, where I’ve taken care of both customer service and floral decorations for events. I really enjoy being in contact with people and expressing my creativity through my work.
I’m joining Workaway not only to improve my English but for live new experiences, discover different cultures and share my positive energy wherever I go!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My main skills are related to gardening and plant cultivation. I love taking care of plants, growing flowers and working outdoors. I’m also quite good with my hands and enjoy creative activities such as floral decorations or small craft projects.
I’m a careful and motivated person, always eager to learn new things and not afraid to try different tasks. I adapt easily and I’m always happy to help wherever I’m needed.

Besides my passion for flowers, I enjoy doing ceramics and painting with watercolors. I love creative and hands-on activities , they help me relax and express myself.
I’d love to learn embroidery and spend more time doing sports, enjoying nature and staying active.
