I enjoy exploring, from as close to my own backyard as well as in far-off destinations across the world. I am motivated to travel to new places by my love of adventure. I try to find joy in everything; knowing that doing my best in all moments helps keep me more present and fulfilled. Traveling, for me, isn't about leaving home; it's about expanding. A favorite saying of mine is 'Grow through what you go through." I look forward to bringing back what I experience and sharing what I learn from it.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Perseverance, problem solving and independence have been instilled in me throughout my childhood growing up and working on a small dairy farm in southwest Wisconsin. While traveling in southeast Asia in 2014, I spent time in Malaysia volunteering at a local fruit farm of sorts. We spent many hours each day pruning plants and weeding garden areas around the property. I very much enjoyed being outside, working amongst nature. Through both my master's and bachelor's degrees, I have trained and worked as a teacher (ages 6 - 14 years old). Although I don't currently work as a teacher, I look forward to serving as a childcare worker at my church for 2-3 year old children. The opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them each week truly brings me joy.
Overall, I catch on quickly and am willing to jump in to learn unfamiliar tasks. I am collaborative, with my easy going demeanor and positive attitude helping me be a useful part of a team. I am also not afraid to take on a project independently and step up as a leader.

I enjoy creating intentional experiences with my family and friends, together playing card games, board games, taking walks, and having meaningful conversations. I enjoy reading, especially if I can do so while swinging in my hammock on a beach or in the backyard at my dad's farm in the summer. I rediscovered my love of cooking and baking, and I've recently embarked on a gluten free sourdough journey. I find joy in doing yoga, playing volleyball, and other activities that keep me active and my body moving.
