Hiya,
I am a 52 year old mother of 2 children (22yr + 19yr) who have now flown the nest. I grew up in London though spent 13 years living in Strasbourg France, and more recently in Bristol, UK.
I have had various professions, my formal education is as a Podiatrist (feet) but I have also worked in scientific administration and conference/event organisation, owned a flower shop, exhibited my art, have studied Gestalt psychotherapy and am passionate about holistic health and working with horses therapeutically.
I find myself in the position where I have the freedom to travel for a few months.
I have done lots of house/pet sitting over the last year and recently joined Workaway as a way of continuing to explore but with the company of other people, and the additional interest of learning/sharing skills.
I am a ‘worker’, happy to have a go at most things. I am independent, really enjoy meeting new people, but also need time alone. I am happiest outdoors and am pretty hardy, I easily find joy in simple things.
I am happy to cook, clean, dig, fix, paint, care for animals, and people…. I am in good physical and mental health and am allergic to drama!
I’m looking forward to some enriching experiences and encounters and the opportunity to explore/try out new places and ways of living that I imagine in my future!

Native English speaker, good level of French and can survive in Spanish.
Medical background.
First Aid trained.
I’ve always lived with animals.
Used to cooking fresh food for a family.
Happiest with my hands in the earth, in all weathers.
A love for gardening, growing food and flowers.
Experience working on tree planting projects.
Very creative and have explored numerous different art practices.
Reasonable at DIY.
I hold a certificate in counselling and a diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy.
Reiki Master and Spinal Attunement practitioner.
Clean drivers licence and own car.
