Description
Although this is no longer our first time using Workaway, we’re still just as excited to learn, help, and meet new people as we were at the beginning.
We’ve now volunteered in Ecuador, Guatemala, Colombia, the Czech Republic, and most recently, Spain – with a mix of projects and experiences that have all taught us something new. Each place has offered something different, and we’ve enjoyed getting stuck in, hearing people’s stories, and learning from the ways different communities do things.
I (Aaron) currently teach English online a few hours a day, Monday to Thursday, so I’m often around and happy to help, but I also appreciate that this can affect flexibility at times. Lucy brings heaps of experience in hospitality, events and Marine Biology, and I bring a background in TEFL and education, but we’re both genuinely up for helping with all kinds of tasks from day-to-day jobs to longer-term ideas.
We’ve got a lot of curiosity and energy, and we love coming up with creative ways to support a project or just lend a hand where it’s needed. We’re happy to chat, listen, and learn and we look forward to seeing where the next journey takes us. We're excited to hear from you!!!

We both love animals and I (Lucy) love swimming and all things marine. I have a passion for animal care and preserving our environment. I also enjoy art projects and love to draw and crochet. I think art projects can bring communities together :)
Although we are not the most avid hikers we would both love to change this and become regular hikers and enjoy nature.
Aaron has been living in Thailand for the last two years and has discovered his love for languages and immersing himself in a new culture, he has enjoyed learning Thai, learning about locals and experiencing new cuisines.
