Hey, my name is Louis. I’m 19 years old and I recently finished my Abitur (German high school diploma). I’m taking a year off now to experience new things and figure out which path I want to take in the future.

I love adventures. In September, I went on a solo bike trip to Lake Constance, which was about 1,200 km. When the weather gets better again, I’d like to do more tours. I’m very active in general: I go to the gym, I’ve been practicing Kung Fu since the beginning of October, and I ride my bike whenever the weather allows it. In 2024, I also completed an Olympic-distance triathlon.

I don’t take any drugs — except for caffeine :)
I can understand English quite well, but I still struggle with speaking. I probably need about a week to warm up. My Duolingo score is 130, if that means anything, and with my Abitur I apparently have a B2 certification. My English definitely needs improvement, which is also one of the reasons I’m interested in a Workaway experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am physically strong and able to handle demanding work. I enjoy learning new things, and I’m reliable, motivated and able to work independently. I have a dog, so I’m familiar with basic responsibilities, but I don’t have much experience with other animals yet. However, I’m very open and willing to learn quickly. I’m also positive, hardworking and not afraid to step out of my comfort zone.
