Hi!
I’m Lola, 24. I’m looking to travel from approximately late Jan-June 2026 and am interested in finding a host who needs an extra pair of hands!
I have a degree in architecture and would be particularly interested in projects relating to sustainable design or vernacular architecture as I’d be very excited to put my design skills to use in a hands on way if the opportunity arises.
I am hugely passionate about history and culture and really enjoy finding out more about people and places – don’t bring me to an art museum unless you’re prepared to spend the day there!
I also enjoy hiking, reading, drawing and painting, and textile arts such as sewing and crochet, and anywhere that allows me to take some time out to explore these would be perfect.
I have plenty of work experience in childcare with children aged 2-15 and as a cleaner in the hospitality sector, so am more than happy to help out with a wide range of tasks, which could also include gardening, animal care, and DIY.
I speak fluent English and French, as well as some Spanish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- Fluent in English and French, intermediate level Spanish
- BSc in Architecture, with experience working in multiple practices. Strong design skills and interest in sustainable design.
- Strong drawing and painting abilities, as well as sewing and textile skills as a hobby
- Several years part-time retail experience (independent bookstore)
- Experience working with children (aged 3-15) both in childcare and tutoring
- Experience working as a cleaner in hotels and university accommodation
- Experience with gardening and DIY at other workaways
- Love cooking and baking
- Happy to try new things and help out with all sorts of odd jobs!
