Description

Hi! I’m Loane, 26, from Switzerland.

I’m currently on a solo gap year, traveling in my little blue van “Bobby.” Since January 2025, I’ve explored France, Spain, Morocco, and Portugal — now I’m discovering the Balkans and planning to reach Turkey in September!

I grew up on the road during a five-year world tour in a motorhome with my family. Later, we settled in Spain, where I lived for a few years and became fluent in Spanish.

Professionally, I started as an actress and still work in film and theater — recently, I began writing and co-directing.
I also hold a degree in social education, with 3 years’ experience in socio-professional reintegration.

Curious, hands-on, and open-minded, I love meeting people, learning new things, and contributing wherever I go. My parents hosted many Workawayers in Spain, which inspired me to try it from the other side!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied social work for three years and I’m a patient person who enjoys sharing what I know. I’ve worked with adults living with physical and/or mental health challenges, which taught me a lot about empathy and adaptability.

I’ve also done a lot of babysitting over the years, and having a younger brother and sister means I’m very comfortable taking care of children.

I helped a lot with the creation of my parents’ finca in Spain, doing DIY, painting, and gardening.

I love animals — my sister is a dog trainer and I lived with her and her dog in a shared flat for four years, so I’m used to being around animals and taking care of them.

I have basic video editing skills and enjoy learning new things and taking on challenges!


I speak French and Spanish fluently, and I have a very good level of English.
I can cook (vegetarian meals)
