Hello & welcome to my profile! 🌞
My name is Lisa and I'm 27 years old.
I created this account because I love this way of travelling. I could already gain beautiful experiences with workaway and I'm very thankful for that.
My workaway experiences (until now) ;) :
-- 2 months in Asturias, taking care of a 2 year old child
-- 6 months in Cádiz, taking care of 3 children ( 10 months, 4 years & 6 years)
-- 2 months helping out in a cat rescue center
-- 4 months in Asturias , taking care of a 4 year old child
--1 month, 4 days in Estepona , helping out in a cat rescue center
-- 1 month, near Granada in a Yoga Meditation Centre
-- 10 days near Monda, working in the garden (preparing fields, installing water pipes..)
-- 2 weeks in the mountains, near Montecorto (building a gabion wall)
-- over 5 weeks in Prado del rey (working on the campo)
-- 2 months: Conil, volunteering at a language school
-- a bit more than a month in Croatia, Island Pag (giving yoga classes at an active retreat center)
-- 2 weeks in San Martín del Tessorillo (helping in the house with different tasks)
--2 weeks in the forest, close to Villablanca (Gardening, taking care of animals, cooking etc)
-- over a month in Aljezur at a surfers place (general maintenance, gardening, taking care of animals etc.)
-- around 2 months at Retreat place 'Monte Mariposa' , Portugal
-- 2 weeks in Órgiva, helping at a Yoga retreat center
--around 1 week in the forest (area Llucena del Cid) , gardening, cleaning, painting Walls, reorganizing
--almost 3 weeks in the Mountains in Monachil - creating a Winter and summer vegetable garden , taking care of 20 month old child
-- returned to my first workaway in novellana, ( 2 weeks) taking care of a 6 year old girl
--for a few days in a forest close to Castañedo; gardening, construction outdoor shower
--NOW: northern Portugal; working in a Hotel
I'm a very creative person & I love nature 🌾, animals and art . I enjoy spending my time outside and discover new places.
My interests are various and I'm always open and ready for new activities/hobbies. I'm very interested in meditation and yoga, .🧘♀️ I'm a Yoga teacher and I did my teacher training in spain (Ashtanga Vinyasa). Always looking for a place to teach or practice together. :)
Spirituality interests me a lot and is a important companion on my way.
I love to paint 🎨 or create artistic objects. Travelling is a wonderful way to find new inspiration, either from new places, people or situations . It makes me happy!
Spending time in the garden is something I enjoy a lot. In Germany we have a small garden where I used to plant flowers, vegetables and fruits. Cooking with selfgrown foods is always something special for me! I'm not a pro in cooking but I love trying new dishes.
Coming from a family which loves to play instruments , I really enjoy (live) music. I used to have piano lessons.
I consider myself as an 'easy-going' person who is uncomplicated to get along with. I take special care that my work is done correctly and in time.
I'm a positive person! 💛😊

- working at a farm selling vegetable and fruits
-working in a store called 'Rituals'
-givin extra help for children (homework, preparations for exams etc.)
I'm also interested working in a touristic sector, as I love learning and speaking different languages. At the moment I'm doing an education as foreign language correspondence clerk.
I speak German, English and Spanish. I'm still improving my language skills.
I started a diving course, just finished the theory. Looking forward to start with the practical part.

It was not planed to have more workaways bevor christmas but it was soo good having changed this plan !! It was only two weeks, but they were filled with plenty of activities, apart of bodysurfing :) you worked very independent and organised, you are very respectful and sensibel for others. She worked very fast and independent wether it was in the office or for activties or with the students, she was always attentt.

We spent almost 5 weeks on the campo in Prado del Rey. It was a great experience! Our tasks there included working in the huerto, cutting firewood + organising it, feeding the animals, painting walls, sanding beams + wooden furniture, collecting fruits, burning old branches , leaves etc., installing a wooden door, digging… read more
We created a raised bed garden structure for future use, planted vegetables and fruit trees in our existing garden, made a new irrigation system, covered a large drainage pipe with surrounding earth, and pruned a row of palm trees.
