Hey everyone,

I am a student from Germany and love to travel. After I finished school, I spent a year abroad. I traveled through parts of the USA, Europe and New Zealand.
I would describe myself as an active, open-minded and respectful person, who is always curious about what this world has to offer and eager to learn new things.
I love cooking, reading, playing and listening to music, hiking, yoga, painting ... and a lot more :)

When I travel, I want to have a real experience. Not just a touristic version of a country but to feel actual culture. I love slow traveling. Instead of rushing to see as many places and things as possible, I want to know a few things deeply. I would like to have a most realistic version of how local people spend their daily life at a place, so I can understand and learn about different ways of living. It is also realy important to me to respect our planet and environment.

I study currently in English for my Bachelor in Anglistics. Therefor I love to learn more about any kind of language. For me a language is a huge part of culture. So, I try to learn at least some words of every language spoken in the country I travel through. If more is possible, I am always happy about the opportunity.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am an organized and creative person.
During school and University, I did (and still do) advocacy for events and student council.
I like to do things with my hands (if it's gardening, playing piano, painting or building smaller projects).
I grew up in a big family and have three younger siblings. So, I know how to take care of children.
I love and respect animals, living in the countryside surrounded by farms. In New Zealand I did a “Farmstay” and worked with horses.

I am an optimist and can find something good or beautiful in everything and everyone. Maybe that counts as a special skill.
For me, the type of work is not so important. It's more about the experience. And I believe with the right attitude every task can turn into a little adventure. There is always something to learn, and the host knows best what is needed for a positive impact from my side
