Hello ! My husband, 2 sons and I will be travelling through South-America for 9 months starting in September. As we really want to make the most of a life-long dream coming true, with WorkAway we are looking for opportunities to get to know the locals, learn the language and culture (and do more than just sight-seeing).

This trip is also a test for us to see whether we would or would not be able to adapt to a Spanish speaking environment. Shortly after our return we plan to open/buy a camp site in Spain.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My husband and I worked in the family company. We were unfortunately not able to buy and continue the life work of my parents-in-law. However, this does give us the opportunity to pursue a life long dream!
I have worked for 10 years at the family company (a 4-star camp site in the South of France). My main task was reception, but I also helped with animation, bar, cleaning service, waiting for the bar and restaurant, snack (pizzas, fried snack, ...), group accommodation, customer reviews, social media, ... (anything except technical stuff, though changing a light bulb won't frighten me)
My husband grew up on this camp site (he was 1 when his parents began). He knows everything from electrical problems, plumbing, building, ... you name it (he built the cell on our pick-up for this journey). He is a professional drone flyer and has very good video-making and photographic skills.
Our camp site was also ecologically driven camp site. This was/is very important to us. We had a large permaculture vegetable garden. We have some knowledge, but are eager to learn more!
