Hello everyone,
We are Leonie and Meike from Germany.

We graduated from high school last summer and decided to start a Work and Travel year in New Zealand before we start our studies.

We want to see a lot of the world, as we have only traveled in Germany so far, so we are all the more excited to finally be able to explore New Zealand.
We want to gain as many experiences as possible, explore nature and meet new people.

We are both open-minded and active people who love to embark on adventures.

Our passions are sports (Leonie: soccer, Meike: cheerleading) and animals.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both speak fluent German, but still need to improve our English a bit.
We both have pets that we look after, so we have experience with animals and know how to treat them.

Meike:
I have already done several internships in kindergarten and elementary school, as well as looking after my little cousin. That's why I already have experience with children / babysitting.
I used to play the piano and guitar, but no longer actively do so.
I can work excellently in a team because I did cheerleading for 7 years. I am also good at organizing things as I was also a coach in my cheerleading club. I also worked in a bakery alongside my A-levels, which gave me experience with customers.
My parents have a garden where I regularly help them with the work and can therefore contribute a few skills from this area.

Leonie:
My skills are mainly based on the hobbies and work experience I have gained so far. I played soccer for 10 years, which is why I am good at working and communicating with other people.
I also started earning extra money at a young age and have fed rabbits and sheep during the vacations, for example, which is why I know a lot about animals and am independent.
I have also worked as a waitress in a restaurant for a summer, so I know how to deal with people and how to multitask.
I also help my grandma in her garden from time to time, so I know a bit about that too.
