Hey there! 👋
We’re Csaba & Lena — a duo hooked on adventures and good vibes.
We first met in a tiny mountain village in Austria about 1½ years ago where we both worked. It was love at first hike — with each other and the idea of diving head-first into this wild ride called “life together.”

About Us:

Csaba: Hungarian by birth, painter & mason by trade. He’s worked in Budapest, Debrecen, Paris, Toulouse & London. Fluent in Hungarian, speaks French, quick learner of local languages & customs. Bonus: he once started a training as a cook, and he’s a passionate cook. 🍳 Everyone should have the chance to taste his Paprikas Krumpli!

Lena: Office pro & social butterfly . My past is filled with import/export, international clients & keeping things organized. I speak English, Spanish and German & love chatting with people from everywhere. I’ve got experience with child care (was an au pair in Mallorca) and I’ve also worked for years at the reception and as a waitress during my last sabbatical.

We consider ourselves a great team — whether building, painting, gardening, cooking, or just getting daily taks done. We love learning new things and being part of a project together.

Teamwork makes the dream work, right? 😊

What We’re After:

We’ve been in Lena's hometown Bayreuth, Germany, for the past year — working in an international company (Lena in CRM and Csaba in repair works) and now we’re ready for a new adventure. Starting January, we’re taking a break from “regular life” and heading to the Canary Islands as our first stop.

We’re hardworking, grounded, crazy curious, and totally fine getting stuck into pretty much anything — manual work, helping at homesteads, guesthouses, painting, masonry, cooking, serving, reception — you name it.

- help in garden, in and around the house
(such as cleaning, tyding etc but also more physical work like cutting the lawn, painting rooms, renovation works, etc )
- taking care of children (I have two gorgeous godchildren who I used to take care of (they're almost grown-ups now) and I was also working as an aupair in Spain twice with the same family!
- helping with homework etc
- cooking (I love to cook and we would be pleased to prepare some specialities from our home countries for you!)
-> and a lot of other tasks that might appear throughout our stay. We like to work and we're not picky.
