Hi there :)

So, what motivates me most is the feeling that I am actually doing something meaningful and connecting with people along the way. I love learning new things, meeting people, and getting to know places in a way that goes beyond just being a tourist.

What makes me happy is quite simple, actually: good conversations, kind people, animals, being outdoors, music, travelling and those little everyday moments that make you feel at home somewhere new.

I would consider myself a very talkative, open-minded and funny person, and I genuinely love meeting new people and having good conversations (preferably over way too many cups of coffee). :-)

At the same time, I am currently at a point in my life where I am really looking forward to slowing down for a little while. The past few months have been incredibly busy with university, exams and generally having a lot going on, so I would love to step away from my usual routine, spend more time outdoors and enjoy a slightly simpler and quieter everyday life for a while.

Absolutely! I love languages and I’m always curious to learn something new. As a native German speaker, I’d be more than happy to help anyone who wants to practise or improve their German. I also study English at university and would be happy to imporve my English as it breaks my heart from time to time, that I am not a native speaker. My Spanish has become a little rusty over the years. And due to my love for New Zealand, I’ve developed a bit of a soft spot for te reo Māori. And since I’m heading to Ireland, picking up a few words of Irish would definitely make me very happy! :-)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I would say one of my biggest strengths is working with people. I’m very open-minded, talkative and easy-going, and through travelling a lot I’ve become used to meeting people from all kinds of cultures and backgrounds, and I love it! :-)

Last year, I spent eight weeks working in a hostel in Croatia, and I’ve also worked different side jobs, including as a waitress. Before university, I trained and worked in insurance, so I’m reliable, organised and used to taking responsibility. I’m currently studying to become a teacher, which has also given me experience working with children and young people.

I grew up in the German countryside with a big garden, and my grandmother used to keep pigs and chickens, so rural life and animals aren’t completely new to me. I’m definitely not an expert in everything, but I’m a quick learner, happy to get my hands dirty and always willing to give something new a try! :-)

I’m not sure there’s much left to add after all of that! :-) I love travelling, music, good conversations, being outdoors and discovering new places. I’m always up for trying something new, whether that’s a new activity, food, game or anything someone is excited to show me. Other than that, I’m pretty easy-going and looking forward to seeing where this experience takes me! :)
