Hi,
My name is Laura, I am from a bilingual (Romanian-Hungarian) family from Transylvania.
I love being outdoors and connecting to nature, I firmly believe that our aim should be to work with / for nature instead of acting against it. I mostly live in a city at the moment, therefore I am eager to go out and explore living and maintaining oneself in rural areas. I am particularly interested in alternative ways of living, this summer I have spent 5 weeks traveling with a camper van.
I like to keep myself in good physical shape - in my free time I like to do pilates, hiking, biking - therefore working outdoors, I think, suits me.
My profession is wood engineer - I mostly design timber framing structures. My free time is dedicated to my passions: architecture, photography, history and arts.
I consider myself an honest and adaptable person, who can lift the spirits :), likes exploring the world, continuously discovering and learning new things. I like to keep the place I am living in cozy, tidy and clean.
I would love to connect with like-minded people, as I am a curious and social person who likes to discuss ideas as well as have deep conversations.
I am available to work in October 2026. Happy to learn new skills!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have my way around the house, in the kitchen, and with animals;
I have been taking part in creative technology competitions, so I love building anything from scratch, to look for creative, functional ideas, especially if it involves some kind of construction, since I am designing wooden houses as my profession;
I have a passion for photography, theatre, have been taking part in a drama club;
I also speak fluently 3 languages, and learning Italian!
I am an enthusiastic and fast learner;
In the past I have been volunteering at different organizations and organizing camps for children.

Through volunteering I have done all sorts of activities and household tasks: minor carpentry repairings, sanding and painting furniture, cleaning up rooms or cottages, setting up rooms / cottages / yurts / apartments for guests, serving guests at dinner, gardening, painting, whitewashing mud house.

Furthermore I have done, at home, personal projects, which included furniture and door - window renovation.

I love riding my bike and exploring with it. I am also familiar with fishing, living in the wild for some days, weeks.
