i have been traveling and volunteering in europee. Mostly helping with renovations, painting, animals. Usually i stay for a week and possibly extending.

Description
Hi im Lars, i live slow but travel far. I've done a lot of studying; economics, history and philosophy, which apparently makes me unsuitable for any well paid jobs. Luckily i don't mind volunteering, working for free and getting a lot to experience in return.
I've helped with renovations, building a roof, painting, taking care of animals, and various handyman jobs.

read the profile well and you will have a good idea what to expect from this workaway, and maybe it will exceed your expectations as it did with me. A wonderful place that gives a real Japanese sense, without the need to learn Japanese.

you know you have found a good place when you keep extending your stay. it was hard to leave this cool spot with the relaxed atmosphere, super nice people and the surfing. the area was already one of my favorite spots in portugal and even more so now. thanks and hope to come again!

wonderful place and people. i only visited a few days but would like to come back. its a farm, so expect to work, but if you put in some good energy you will get a lot back. tusentakk kari-anne for a great stay!

I had a good time at Eva's place near Jijona. Eva is a very good host, she makes it very clear what to expect and not to expect, which sometimes might come across as a bit unfriendly but she always cares a lot about making the stay enjoyable. Lars was a big help for us two weeks. He is a kind person, good worker, flexible, tidy. It is easy to get along with him. And he cooked good pasta. We definitly recommend him for any host.

Sometimes you are at a place just doing the things that need to be done but later when you look back you realize how special it was. Here i already realized that this was such a place while i was still there. I stayed only two weeks, but got to experience much of the lifestyle. It would be great to come back in another season.. and make some shoes!

A paradise it truly is, but maintanance can be hell. As a workawayer I could help balance the scale in the right direction. I had a wonderful time at the small farm and shop in Nesflaten. Anybody who’s willing to put in some effort can experience Norwegian farmlife here.
