Description
I live in Lisbon but have another house in Tomar (center of Portugal) where I’m engaged in rewilding and food foresting.
I’m 65, married, we have 2 daughters and seven grandsons.
I like nature watching, so we have outdoor wildlife cameras to catch animal pictures, binoculars, a spotting scope.
We have several friends living nearby with similar interests regarding ecology and circular economy. -

I’ve started this rewilding and food forest project in the autumn of 2019 and as it is so recent, there’s still a lot of work in planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, and even planning where and what to plant.

We have a local community with similar points of view regarding ecology. We are within 20 minutes walking distance to the next village where we can use a bus to go to Tomar or we use our car to move around. There’s also a bicycle.
The Convento de Cristo (dated from 1160) is a major monument of outstanding universal value. Built over the span of 5 centuries, it’s a unique architectural complex combing Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque.
We have Wi-Fi and a reasonable library at home. -
