Description

We’re a hands-on, adaptable couple who love getting stuck in, learning new things, and having a good time while doing it.

Together we’ve set up and run our own supper club (IG @ten_thousand_tonnes_of_tacos) which means we’re calm under pressure, organised, and very comfortable in a kitchen. We’re practical problem-solvers who enjoy figuring things out, whether that’s building custom furniture, using power tools, or repairing and improving our campervan from small mechanical fixes to interior upgrades. If something needs fixing or improving, we’re usually keen to have a go.

We’re fit, healthy, and happy doing physical work outdoors. Coffee farms, bamboo or natural building projects, eco-construction, food-related projects, or anything that mixes practical skills with creativity really appeals to us. We work hard, learn quickly, and take pride in doing things properly, but we also know how to keep the mood light and enjoyable on long days.

Personality-wise, we’re easy-going, curious, and sociable. We enjoy shared meals, good conversation, music, and a laugh at the end of the day. Lara speaks a little Spanish.l and Dan is learning. We’re respectful of space and routines, communicate clearly, and slot easily into existing teams. We’re very happy to help wherever we’re most useful, whether that’s building, cooking for a group, maintaining spaces, or jumping into something completely new.

We’re looking for meaningful projects, good people, and a positive, collaborative atmosphere. If you’re after a capable, reliable couple who will work hard, contribute energy, and be genuinely enjoyable to have around, we’d love to get involved.
