Hello!

I am an adventurous 29 year old from NJ, USA. I first began work exchange in 2018, and for 2 years travelled across Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. After the 2020 pandemic, I returned to backpacking in 2023 through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Europe, and finally stopping in Malaysia where I worked as a wedding videographer. I am now looking to use my camera to work remotely, and pursue some personal documentary work in my free time.

I love work exchange because it allows me to become immersed with the local culture and do something constructive. I prefer to travel slowly, getting to know a place deeply and having meaningful connections with the people I meet along the way.

I'm open to trying all types of work. I am a hard worker, and I would love the opportunity to help out your family with whatever projects you are working on.

Previous workaway experiences include: helping out on small family farms (sheep, chickens, horses), gardening & permaculture, watching children, teaching English in South Korea, pruning kiwi groves in NZ, campground maintenance, house chores, meal preparation, cleaning guesthouses, and other various jobs.

I love hiking, photography, reading, and anything creative! I like to draw, write, make coffee, and edit videos.

I am 100% vaccinated for Covid-19.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a bachelors degree in Film & Animation, and worked professionally as a wedding videographer in Malaysia. I can help with computer & editing projects, and I am proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Animate, Illustrator, After Effects, 3DS Max, Microsoft Office, and social media.

I am experienced and comfortable with outdoor work. I've had jobs that include garden work, kiwi pruning, chicken/sheep/horse care, bush restoration, bee tending, as well as labor intensive construction work.

As a native English speaker, I can help you practice English. I have experience working at a language exchange cafe in South Korea and I am a very patient teacher.

I'm hard-working and adaptable, and I look forward to helping you with your projects :)
